Wow, what a couple of stress filled weeks! Surgery was last week on Tuesday, 3-20. It went well, Dr didn't take out as much of the colon as was first planned. He got out of surgery a little early and Lissy and Jes and I were waiting in the room for him when they brought him up. He has done remarkable! He didn't have ANY pain medication what so ever!!! Thursday Dr brought news that the mass was benign. What a relief!!!! Prayers answered!! No other procedure is necessary! What a relief!
He is home and trying to recover! Guess Heavenly Father has more for him to do!

Hands on Grandpa!!!`
Its too bad all the grandkiddies don't live close so they can take advantage of grandpa being around too. But look at the first picture, Grandpa also doing business while spending time with the kids....HAHAHAHAHA
Grandpa is such a GREAT grandpa!!! No wonder the kids love him so much, he is always doing stuff with them.

Harold Cancer Scare
March 6 we had Harold scheduled for a colonoscopy. And it was the same day as the Idaho Caucus, our FIRST. BUSY day. But after the Dr came in to visit with us, told us he found a mass in the colon he sent Harold down for a CT Scan and would get the results hopefully by the weekend. Then on Friday the 9th Dr. Williams called to say the mass was not INSIDE the colon but looked to be pushing into the outer wall of the colon, that the surgeons office would be contacting us for an appointment. We got that phone call later that afternoon, the appointment for Tuesday 3-13. Visited with him, Dr Smith yesterday, the mass is in the lining of the colon wall. They are taking out 25% of the colon, reconnecting the cecum to the top of the ascending colon or the transverse colon. Three to five days in the hospital at least 2 weeks off work and then biopsy. If its cancer, then therapy. We see the oncologyst today and will know better the treatment if it is indeed cancer. The family has been wonderful, lots of calls and prayers coming out way. Thanks all, we love you.
