Hurricane force Wind

I don't remember exactly how many MPH the wind was blowing here but it was strong enough to pick this chemical tank up and blow it into the canal and UP STREAM and almost out again probably a good 300 yards.  Hahahahaha.  

Memorial Day

My annual flower planting at Jennifer's grave.  I love to spend time cleaning and making it so pretty for Memorial Day.  Miss this beautiful girl with all my heart!

Clouds

One of the things that I have learned from my mother is to appreciate the clouds.  She has always loved the clouds and I used to think she is so funny because of how often she would comment on the clouds.  But I find myself appreciating them now.  We do have some amazing clouds here.  And in all our travels we have noticed how beautiful they are.  Thanks mom,  and thanks Heavenly Father.

Swan Valley

I went up to Afton with Harold for a dinner for something and on the way home we were greeted by this beautiful scenery!  I love the mountains!  We had so much snow last year that it was still melting clear into May!!! NUTS   The snow pack was massive last winter!

Utah trip to Eye Dr.

When we were kids on Bogart Lane in Boise mom and dad had some friends named Charly and Audrey Fuller,  we used to call him Uncle Charly.  They moved to Utah shortly before we moved to Middleton and I don't remember ever seeing them after that.  Since mom has been here with us she has gotten in contact with them and on one of our trips to the Eye Dr in SLC we made arrangements to stop and have lunch with them.  At that time Charly was far into his stage 4 cancer.  He passed away about 3 months before these pictures were taken.  Mom and I were again on our way to the Dr and made arrangements to stop and grab Audrey and take her to lunch with us in Bountful.  They are dear friends and she is such a darling lady.  Glad to be able to make these moments possible for my mom.  Her friends from "home" mean so much to her.

Mothers Day Surprise

We decided to surprise mom by having her boys all come for Mothers Day.   Needless to say she was so thrilled to have all her kids here for her special day.  Dave and Jan had come for the rededication and also brought his race truck to run here at the new drag strip west of Idaho Falls.  Unfortunately the wind was blowing too hard and they closed the track the day he was going to run.  I felt so bad that he drug his trailer so far for nothing.
