Merry Christmas 2011
We had such a wonderful Christmas this year. It is always such a huge build-up and then in one day its OVER! Christmas Eve, Aubrie and Brian and the family came over and spent the night (minus Bri, he had to work) We opened up our traditional PJ's and got dressed in them. The kids were wanting to keep opening up the gifts! Clinton got home the night before about 10:30! I love it when he comes home. Christmas morning Austin came up about 7:30 and so we got up and waited for the rest of the family to get up. We called Curtis and Jack and they came back to the house and we opened up the gifts and the kids LOVED it. We started our crepes and bacon and eggs and hashbrowns! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I love Christmas breakfast. SInce it was SUnday this year, Harold had one hour of Singles at 11:00 and ours was at 1:00. We had everyone there except Lissy and Nate. It was really nice to have everyone at church with me! Then back to the house for Prime Rib. We had invited Onda K over since we didn't know if she had any plans, (she is a widow, just lost her husband a year ago and all her family is AWAY.) So we had a wonderful dinner and just visited for a few hours. Then everyone left and the house was SO quiet! wow its crazy. We spent the rest of the evening enjoying Clinton and he took off back to school Monday morning about 7:30. I love Christmas! I love spending time with the family!
Now we get to look forward to the world wide Birthday Party for Aubrie on Saturday! Shrimp and crab!!!! Clinton is coming home with Rachel.
Will post pictures when I get my card back from Aubrie, she is downloading onto her computer.

Bread Making Lessons
For Christmas this year my friend Robin wanted to learn to make bread with Taylor her son. We set aside a Saturday, I bought her 2 bread loaf pans for her gift and they came over and I taught them to make bread. We had a great time together while the bread was rising and baking listening to Christmas songs and teasing Taylor. I love Robin she is such an AMAZING, thoughtful, tender, compassionate, strong woman. She is such a good mother to her 2 boys and I have such admiration for her. She is a wonderful person!

Thanksgiving 2011
Mom and dad came in on Monday. Tuesday we hit the highway for Rexburg and Mom's Candy Kitchen of course!!!! Spent 160 bucks on chocolate!!! MMMMMMMM
Wednesday we spent making pies, mom and dad peeded and sliced all the apples. We made in all, 4 apple, 4 pumpkin, 1 lemon merangue,1 cherry and 1 blackberry. We baked the turkey and the ham, Jes brought the crab cheese ball and the salad shrimp cream cheese thingy. Lissy brought a vegi tray, Aub did all the potatos and Jessicalyn brought a green salad. Dinner was FANTASTIC as usual!
Mom and dad did amazingly well considering all the great grands running all over the house. THey didn't even hybernate in the basement. But by Friday morning mom was SO tired and they were ready to head for home. We had such a wonderful week and such a wonderful day with the family. Love all of them!

Quick Trip to Mom's
Jes and I had an appointment with dad's dermotologist. He told him to have his whole family checked for melonoma, so we made the appt and went. We were planning to leave the kids at home, then at the last minute, Jack came with us. He was so good! We left Saturday morning got there by 1:30 and had a wonderful lunch that mom had prepared. We helped mom get out and set up her Christmas Tree and Village. She is getting so tired that it takes her so long to get stuff done, so she was SO EXCITED to get it done, she LOVES her house all decorated!!! We played games and had such a great time. Got up, lounged around the house for the morning and got ready and went to Sacrament Meeting, had the worst headache and went back home and crashed for the rest of the day! The Christmas Devotional was that night and I pretty much slept through it. Dan and Sheri and Jenna came for it. Dad had worked my spine over and so by about 8 I was able to get up and visit a little with them. Took 2 excedrine pm's and crashed on the couch and actually slept really good. We got up, cleaned up, packed up and headed out to the Dr. Jes has a followup appt in 6 months, I had 3 spots burned and one on my face we sent out to biopsy. Should hear back from the patholigist in about a week. Mom and dad came with us and so after the appts were over we headed out for home. Jack was so good the entire trip, I am very proud of him.

Hard at Work
I have been really working hard at work. Robin and I took a Consultative Sales course together and we passed, got our designation (the cutsie little letters behind your name) So now we get to order new business cards and here is the picture Robin took for me to put on mine. I should have kept her's that I took of her. I will try to find it and add it to this post also.

Harolds 50 Birthday
I was trying to do something special for Harolds Birthday, something I though he would love, so I thought of what I would love for my own birthday, so instead of the normal OVER THE HILL birthday with all the friends and the nasty gifts, I asked the kids to help. We planned dinner after Church because his birthday was on a Wednesday, so the Sunday before all the kids came over, helped with dinner and they had blown up about 90 baloons and decorated the house. I had them hide in our room and when he got home from church, I was standing inside the door and yelled SURPRISE all by myself. He smiled and said something like, You are silly. I told him dinner was ready and to go change his clothes and we would eat so he headed for the bedroom, when he opened the door ALL the kids (except Clinty, he had to leave early that day) YELLED 'SURPRISE",. SCARRED the Crud out of him and I think he was surprised!. It turned out terrific! What better way to celebrate a half a century than with the kids and grandkids!!!!!! Love them, they made his day!

Uncle Dave's Visit
Dave and Zack got to our house about 3:30 Sunday afternoon and Shinae and Dallas got here about 4:30. I had dinner ready for them and we just sat around and visited. Dave did take 10 moles off Jes's back. COOL!
We started a movie about 9 and by 10 all us old people were falling asleep! So we went to bed.
I got to feed them breakfast this morning and sent them off in time to get to work.

Jessica has a birthday
Jes turned 29 years old July 24th. Wow. Its so hard to believe I am THAT OLD! Ha ha, just kidding. She is an amazing daughter, friend and neighbor. We have been SO blessed to have them live by us so close! We LOVE IT! She helps me with EVERYTHING and NEVER complains about it! She is totally amazing! I love you Jes!
Fun at the cabin
We had such a great time with mom and dad at the cabin a couple of weeks ago. We got there Friday night about 9. We ate SO good all week, played cards, backwards 8, laughed, watched movies, gave Big Grandma a pedicure, and just relaxed. It was SOOOOOO much fun. We left for moms house on Monday, Dad had a Dr appt Tuesday, Procedure on Wednesday, and then back to the cabin Wed. night and then Thursday dads incision opened up and they headed back to the hospital and Jes and I packed up and came home. Even with the trip cut short, we had such a good time. WE ALWAYS DO WITH GRANDPA!
We even got him in on the HEADBANZ game, mom too.
Grandpa took the girls fishing, so me and mom drove over, (she doesn't like to stay as long as dad does). I got some amazing pictures.
