Visit to grandma with Jes

We went to Mom and Dad's a couple of weeks ago.  We had fun, Mom and Dad actually had a lot to do away from the house so Jes and the kids and I spent quite a bit of time at the house just having fun.

Jones for Idaho

Harold ran for a Seat in the Legislature this past May.  It was an adventure.  He did however do amazing for being an unknown in Madison County.  Only 300 votes behind the other guy.  Met some really nice people.

Easter 2012

Easter was really fun this year and we got a special treat.

Silly Jack

Fortune Cookies

2 weeks ago I met Jes, Kyle and the girls and Harold in town for lunch.  We had chinese.  On the way home the girls wanted to ride with Harold and I (we were in seperate cars)  so Lexie and Ninners rode with me and Haylee rode with Papa.  So from the back seat I hear KayLyn reading Lex her fortune, then I hear sweet little Lexies voice "reading hers, she is 4, NOT)  and she says, Heavenly Father loves us and we love Him.  Wow,
out of the mouth's of babes!!!!!!   They are so special and precious!  I love my grandbabies!

Sharing our home

The past 7 weeks we have been sharing our home with Aubrie and her family...
They rented their home in Lewisville and bought their old house in Rigby.  So during the waiting time for the new home to close they moved out of their old home into mine.  It was a little adjustment to get used to PEOPLE again.  It gets so quiet with just Harold and I.  But they are in their new home and LOVING it!   They re-carpeted the whole home, they will tile the rest and its so nice for them..... LOTS OF ROOM.

Harold Running for Office

So Harold is running for a political office again.  This time its a Legislative Seat which if he gets it he will be spending 3 months in Boise each Spring.  I am kinda excited cuz I could go with him and spend lots of time with mom and dad!!!!  Ulterior Motive!!!!

Nature on the Farm

On my way to work the past few mornings this beauty has been hanging around.  I just love to see these guys too.  Some mornings we hear him outside.

Family of Geese

I absolutely LOVE living where where we do!!!!!  Driving home from work and just about to the house I looked at the bank of the creek and saw something very funny so I backed up and saw 2 geese bedded down on the bank.  So I drove to the house  and grabbed my camera, ran back to the bank of the creek and they had already returned to the water.  But I was sneaky and crouched down and tried to get ahead of them...

They were just darling....... Such a beautiful place we live.

Hogle Zoo

Jes called and wanted  to do something fun for the weekend so we decided to go to Logan, grab Clinton and Rachel and head to SLC.  We stopped for lunch at Lionhouse.  (it wasn't as good as I remembered, I must have been really hungry the first time, haha)  Then to the Zoo.  We had a great time but the heat was HORRIBLE,  we felt like the wicked witch, "I'm melting, I'm melting!.  Here are some pictures.
