Halloween tradition

I didn't get any trick or treaters this year. I was kind of sad. Thanks for sending pictures though. 

Visit on a 4 wheeler

I heard the sound of a 4 wheeler outside driving around the yard. I go up and look out and this is what I find !!

Dad would be proud

Dad was always stopping and picking up gloves on the side of the road. One day mom and I were on our way to a doctors appointment in Rigby. As I drove through an intersection I saw something orange that caught my eye  off to the right. As I drove by it I realized it was a chainsaw. I drove on down the road trying to decide whether I wanted to turn back. I got about a mile down the road looked in the rearview mirror and saw a whole line of cars behind me. I told mom that I was going to turn around and that dad would be proud of me. When I got back to the intersection I was afraid that it would be gone. But it was still there so we pulled over and grabbed it. It was a near new Huskavarna  I told Harold that I had a new present for him when he got home from work. When I showed it to him and told him how I acquired it he did not believe me!  Dad would be proud

Green kids and pickles

I was watching Aubrey's kids one afternoon. They decided that they were hungry. I looked in the refrigerator and they happen to see a jar pickles. They love pickles! They ate the whole jar.

Missionary work

 Elder Skidmore my favorite missionary. He has a testimony that won't quit. And is such a great missionary. Elder Mauerman is the one on the right. Great set of Elders!

We got to be a part of teaching and will nine-year-old boy the Gospel in our home. The missionaries brought him over and taught him the lessons. Skyler was baptized   But has not been back to church since. But he has the basics and hopefully one day he will choose to live the gospel

Flowers blooming in October!

We had a freeze in October. I thought that my flowers would be done for. But when I walked outside I saw these beautiful blooms. So I picked them and put them in a vase for my mother.

My cousin Suzie

My cousin Suzy's husband AJ was running for governor of Idaho this last year. We got a phone call telling us that they were visiting Idaho Falls. We decided that Jes and mom and I would go into Idaho Falls and listen to the debate between AJ and the governor. I was so excited to see Susie. We got to see and hug her.  She then told us that AJ had another meeting that evening. So Harold Jessica and I went to that.  After the meeting we got a chance to visit with her a little bit longer. Everyone was asking to get pictures with AJ. Susie asked me if I wanted to have a picture taken with AJ and I told her no I just wanted one with my cousin.  We don't know our cousins very well but it was so nice to be able to visit with her and get to know her a little bit. Susie and her sister-in-law came to visit us at our home earlier that same day and visit and they stayed for about an hour.  We enjoyed it very much.

Harold surgery

Harold had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands at the same time.  He was out of work for 2 weeks and on light duty for another 2 weeks.  He is doing great.

October is December decorating time!
