Official Count

Ok, its finally here!!! The official count is 8! Yea, Aubrie delivered little Eli Joseph ( all natural I might add, so proud of her, SHE DID IT) on Tuesday July 22 at 11:18 and he weighed in at 7'4", 19 1/2 inches long and he is absolutly beautiful. By the look of his hands and feet I think it's safe to say he will outgrow his grandpa!
Brian is the cutest new daddy!!! I have never seen a new daddy so at ease and comfortable with a newborn. OK Eli is about the same size as a football,
I wonder if that has anything to do with it!!! Ha Ha And Aubrie is a wonderful little mommy, she is so adorable with him, it just comes natural!
Thank you all of our kids for giving us such a wonderful posterity. We love each of them so much, we have great kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Axle

Meet our little Axle Rose. He is the newest addition to the family farm. Hopefully he will have a little friend soon, Jes wants one too. Clinton named him after the lead singer from some group.
Isn't he cute!

Our little herd

I know, I know, this is old news. But we still are at awe over the little herd of elk that visited our home for 5 nights and ate all my trees to nubbins I might add. So I thought I would share pictures with you. We had quite a storm for those 5 days and the wind blew so hard and it was so dang cold. I guess they liked my grass which I left long last fall intentionally and the shield from the house. As you can see we could have reached out the windows and touched them. One night in the middle of the night I looked out my bathroom window to see if they were there and a little bull was standing so close I could have jumped on his back. It was an awesome experience for us. One of the little bulls left us a souvinier, one horn, I asked Kyle how much I could get from it if I sold it. Not much he said. It is just a little spike horn about 14 inches long. But I like it.
We would love to have them come back next year also, only leave my trees alone. Maybe we well throw them some hay!!

iPod Touch

What is an i Pod touch you ask, well at least some of you ask. Harold won an iPod touch from Farmers in a promotion. I Am So excited, because he didn't know what it was so I got it!!!!
If you don't know what it is I will explain. It is a little electronic device that you download all your favorite music onto and you can take it with you everywhere you go. It has 80 mg so thats about 15000 songs from what Clinton tells me. He wanted me to trade him for his iPod but I said no. Then Jes wanted it and I said no, then Curtis saw it and wanted to trade for his and I said no. (Aunt Kathy, how am I doing?)
I love it!!! I named it LuLu and it has all kinds of fun bells and whistles. It has internet options and a notepad and calander and you tube and calculator and weather and stocks and an international clock (for when we go to Europe) ha ha.
Really I just use it for the music. Its GREAT!!!!! Thanks Harold. He loves me. Besides, he can't get Glenn Beck or Rush on it so he really doesn't have any use for it!!!

Family Reunion

" The Crossley Clan"

Well, its here and gone! On June 18th Jessica and I drove to the cabin and spent a couple of days with Big Grandma and Grandpa, went home with them and brought mom home with us to wait out the time with me until the family reunion on July 4th. We feel it was a huge success, hopefully everyone who attended thought so also. Dad got to our house on the 3rd as did Mike, Kathy and Jon. Friday started out a little slow, not too many showed up until lunch time but it was really good food and the card tournament was fun. Then (leave it to Mike) we had a terrific waterfight. We laughed and played hard not to mention got extremely wet. Harold filled up the orchard with water for the kids and they were in seventh heaven playing on the big water tubes.
KayLyn, Nevaeh and Abby

Dinner was fantastic, Mike fixed dutch oven for all of us (THE VEGIES WERE MY FAVORITE). Not much left over. Friday night was our softball game with Jes, Kyle, Megan, Melissa, Mike, Kathy, Jon, Shinae, Allen, Tyler, Harold, LaRee, Clinton, Big GM and GP sat on and cheered. Hope I didn't forget anyone! Then back to our home for FIREWORKS. We got to bed about midnight. Saturday morning had a great breakfast and on to the festivities again. Again a little slow start but by lunch we were rolling again. After lunch we made marshmellow shooters and had a WAR. Even mom and dad got into the action!!!! It was a great time for all!
After 8 bags of mini marshmellows all over my back yard we took family pictures. Jes and I would like to thank all of you for your support in driving so far to attend, hope it was as rewarding for you all as it has been for us.
Mike, Kathy and Jon stayed on until yesterday and we continued to have a great time with them. Aubrie and Brian came over almost every night to play cards and we floated the canal and just had a great time together. Family is such a great BLESSING!!!! I love them all.

My Grand Babies

Here are some of my darlings!!! Aren't they beautiful. This is at Big Grandma and Papa's house before we took Grandma home with us for the reunion. Jes and I bought the girls some water guns before we left home so that we could have some fun outside AND...............we got Big Papa and Gma pretty wet. BUT then Big Papa went to find a bigger gun he had in his shed. KayLyn was pretty sad that papa had a bigger gun than hers!
