What the heck!

We went to bed one evening and I heard a funny scratching on the window. When I turned the light on it stopped.  So we took a flashlight out and looked in the window well and there was a muskrat. It tore up my screen.  This is the second time one ruined my screen in a window well.

Mom loves flowers

Green kids

I have had the kids quite a lot since Aubrie moved to California.  I try to help Brian out as much as I can.  It puts a little strain on mom but she takes it pretty well and just hibernates in her room when she has had enough noise.  I love these kids!

Mom visits Dan

Mom left two weeks ago with Dan and Sherie to stay with them for two weeks. It's been really quiet here. I have enjoyed the time just with Harold and I. But it was nice to have her come back last night. While she was gone Jes and I went to town to do our Christmas shopping so one good thing that happened was that I got all my Christmas shopping done and it's before Thanksgiving first time ever!

Snow

It's a little early but we've had quite a funny weather pattern coming through our area. It's been hovering around zero and below zero and we've had three days of snow. We weren't quite ready for this kind of weather this early in the year yet. Took my car in yesterday to get the snow tires put on it.

That time of year again

It always seems as though I have just taken down the Christmas tree and then it's time to put it up again. This year I put it up a week before Hallowren. However I did put that one down stairs up to weeks before Halloween. Then mom left for Dan's house for two weeks and I finished decorating the house and the rest of the trees in the living room. Now my house looks beautiful for Christmas.

Visitors on the four wheeler

I was in the kitchen doing my dishes when I heard the rumbling of a four wheeler outside in my yard. I ran to the door to see who it was and there was Curtis Kalin and Raylie. They had ridden over from their house. Raylie looked pretty cute in her snowsuit all bundled up

The weather turned really cold very quickly. I went out the next day and here are my lilies in bloom. 

My great roadside find

My dad would be proud.  Mom and I were on our way to Rigby to the doctors office one morning when I saw something orange lying on the side of the road. I turned back around after driving about a mile past it when I decided to turn around and go back and get it. I was surprised that no one had pulled over to pick it up. It looked like it was nearly new. Jes

 just bought one for Kyle $450.

Halloween

We didn't get any trick or treaters this year. Everyone was busy. Jes did come out to help with the donuts and Kalen and Curtis and the kids came over to eat the donuts. But we didn't get one dressed up kiddo! :(

Pew hopping

Jes is always moving from place to place on Sundays. The bishops wife and family always takes the front left pew and it took weeks to get courage enough to kick her out of her bench. It's fun to watch people look to see where they will be sitting ! And then watch them laugh!

Green kids

I got to take the kids for a weekend for Brian. We went for a long walk and collected rocks. They are sweet kids. I love having them. We met the Jacobson girls from off the bus and they all got to play for a while   Grand kiddies are the best!!!!!

Raylies first birthday

Clinton and Rachel came home for the weekend and raylies birthday. The kids love  him !
