Quick trip to Louisiana

So I changed my flight to go out early and got there the day after Christmas and spent 

4 nights in the hospital with Aub.  We brought her home on Saturday and Jes and the Kids got there Saturday night.  Sunday we were thinking how cramped everyone was and that she needed time together with just her kids Jes and I changed our flights and went home Monday morning early.  We didn't want to disrupt the whole house so we got an Uber to the ariport on Sunday night and spent the night in the airport with only one other cute little gal from China.  We sat right near the Police Station and felt fairly safe.  The airport didn't have any heat on and we FROZE all night and even after we got on our flight to Georgia we froze.  We didn't really get warm, cuz it was really cold in Atlanta too until we got on the airplane to SLC.  What an adventure!~

Then Friday drove Jes back to the airport to go bring Aub's kids back home and I went to Logan to spend the night with Clinty and Rachel..  I went back to SLC at about 5 and picked Jes and the kids up and then we drove home.  We got home about 11:00

I hope we don't have another mishap like this any time soon!!!

Christmas

An eventful Christmas for sure.  I was just getting ready to watch a replay of Aubrie's race Saturday before Christmas when the phone rang and Williams said "she's ok"  I knew she'd come off a horse.  

So I watched the replay and sure enough she got thrown over the horses head and got hurt pretty bad.  They took her to the ER and admitted her into Intensive Care with 5 broken ribs, lacerated liver partially collapsed lung and very very bruised.  I got a message from 2 of her friends that I should come because she wasnt' doing well on Christmas day so I spent 4 hours on the phone with Delta trying to change my flight so I could leave.  Couldn't get any changes until Tuesday.  So I flew out of Idaho Falls.  Harold dropped me off on his way to work.
