First thing we saw were the geese in the driveway!  They are majestic!   Then we ran out of gas in Arco.   Then we see the Anderson Family Funeral Home outside Arco.....oh my!

Then we see the Aussie septic sign.....their motto is. ". Just go outback".  Aaahhhhhhhahahahahaha

Then we see the Bear Bottom Inn.  " Don't look Ethel.......she looked!

Then we stop in Challis for a few groceries and on the way to Stanley we pass the sign saying watch for bighorn sheep on the highway. We see a big horn sheep, right. after saying that we have never seen a bighorn sheep there.

Nothing short of a MIRICLE!

So off we go to the cabin, we back out of the garage and mom says "we don't have to get gass so we don't need to stop anywhere.....off we go......get about 1/2 mile from the first gas station in Arco. Pop.....no power.   I think the car just broke down.  Moms thinking.....this is where the gas gage goes haywire.  I sy NO we have no go!     We coast to the gas pump.....We are OUT OF GAS.  Angels among us!!!   Wow.  We could have run out anywhere in the Arco desert!!!   Here we are fueling up!

Moms construction winding down

This week should be the end!!  Painting is in progress, carpet coming Wednesday and Thursday, ramp tomorrow, electrical Friday and Saturday we should be moving her in!!!  She. Has been quite stressed these past few weeks with it dragging out so long.  And on top of that trying to get the house up on the market!  She's a bit of a ticking time bomb.......I say that with much love. I wish I could make her NOT stress over things OUT of her control!!  She is who she is, she will always stress ,  her daughter is just like her.    Well,,,,,,,,happy day when this weekend is here and we get to move her in.l

The kids came home for the weekend!  Today Jes' kids came over and he put them to work.....we love having them come home!!

Dinner with Laurie May

We didn't get any pictures!  We invited Laurie May over today for dinner,  Clinton and Rachel also came home for the weekend!  Curtis and Kalen and Jes and Kyle and the kids came too.  Laurie kept us laughing the whole time.  I met Laurie when I started working at Smiths in Meridian in the bakery, she was the book keeper and Stan was assistant manager.  So we have known the May's for a long long time.   I love Laurie,  she is an amazing women!  She lost Stan from a heart attack 3 years after Jennifer died.  She told me today that Stan and dad share the same death date. August 25.  

The kids really enjoyed having her here with us today!  We need to see her more often.
