Wednesday in Canada

While waiting to find out when the temple opened we drove around Calgary a little and went to the Canadian Mounted Police Museum.  It was very nice.

We were disappointed because the Temple in Calgary didn't open until 4:30 in the afternoon and we were going to try to be in Cardston later the same day for a session.  But while we were in Calgary we kept calling the temple to see when the session started and kept getting a message that it was closed so after going to the Mounted Police Museum we drove up to the temple anyway and took pictures.  While we were there we got to meet the President and his wife, President Bennett.  He took some pictures for us and so I snapped a quick picture of him talking with mom and Amelia.  We did make it to Cardston and attended a session there.   It was such a beautiful temple. We met a Bishop from Victor Idaho attending also. Harold and I were the witness couple and mom was asked to stand in the prayer circle with the bishop from Victor. What a nice day.

Tuesday in Canada

We spent the night in Couer'dLene last night. I was surprised because I was expecting pine trees, something like Yellowstone.  It was all beautiful in its own way, the clouds were amazing!  Thanks to mom for noticing as always!  I got a horrific headache before we got to Moscow and needed to eat so stopped at Shari's and had lunch then drove into Couer'dLene and got a hotel. I went to bed!  We got there about 5ish. Got yo this morning and headed toward the border.  We finally got to the beauty I was expecting.  We got into Canada around 11 o'clock. We stopped in Invermere and at at the Huckleberry resturaunt. It took a long day to get to the park but got to Lake Louise at about 6. Lots of road construction.  It was such a beautiful drive.   Heading to Banff now

Rodeo

After mom and I met Clinton and Rachel at the Tremonton Rodeo, we decided it was so much fun we wanted to go to the Eastern Idaho State Fair Rodeo.  It was really fun.  Curti and Kalen took us early and we went through the booths and ate and wandered around.  We ran into the Johnson family and I even ran into an old school friend, Kelly.  It was fun to get a hug from her.
