Home Centered Church with the 2 of us!

 Its a Home Centered Empty Nester kind of Sunday!!!  

Its a " Two Fer" day, deer and dinner!

On the way home from work we often stop in and see Jes and the girls,  This pretty bunch of deer greeted us as we came in on Jacobson Drive.   They always amaze me, I love seeing them!!!!

Every once in a while Harold and I ( mostly I ) cook lunch for the store employees.  This was one, I made Chicken and Dumplings.  

 

Driving to Afton

Driving to Afton up past the Palisades Reservoir   was absolutely stunning on this trip.  Again the pictures don't do it justice,  It was so beautiful!!!

 

Home Centered Church

I have loved Home Centered Church through Covid!  Every Sunday we made our own Program for our Sacrament meeting..  I now have a stack of them.  There is just something special about doing it together and having Harold administer the Sacrament to the two of us each week.   I will miss this the most as we are just now starting to go back to church and second hour (as of this posting 2-20-21)

Sourdough Bread!!!!!!

I have always loved baking bread and I have tried sourdough before but I never did any research before I tried it and it failed completely!  So I finally got serious and decided to read up and try to make bread from our family Sourdough Start.  It too a couple of  tries but I finally have it down and it is amazing!!!!!  I now have all three of my brothers and  Jes and my daughter in laws making it!  I LOVE making bread.   There is just something so fulfilling to my soul when I make bread.  Its almost spiritual, for lack of better way of expressing it.  Someday maybe I'll understand if there is really a deeper reason I love this relationship I have with the dough!

 

 

March in a bundle

I didn't take many pictures in March but they all were the family.   The top one is grandpa after he came home and shedded his pants and laid them on the side of the couch at the apartment.  Then he layed down and the waist of his pants fell over his just as if he purposely slipped his head in them.  

I love FaceTime calls especially when we can get as many peeps as possible on it!!!!

Then Last!  Harold in his St. Patrick Day work attire!  He is amazing, he is always such a good sport when dressing up for work!  What a GUY!!!!!!
