Our apartment

A week after moms funeral I came to Afton to spend a night with Harold in the camper.  I had a horrible night and the next morning Kim from the store told us she had an apartment for rent.  We went to look at it and took it and I moved us in the next morning.  This is us in our new apartment.  Learning how to be empty nesters and getting used to each other all over again.

GRIEF

I wanted to wear moms wedding ring so I always had a piece of her with me.  So I got it sized and had a new band put on it.  I love it!

 When mom passed away I walked over to Jes and gave her a hug and said to her, " I love you like she loved me"  and she said back to me, " I love you like you loved her". 

And Life goes on.

Funeral

For many years I have thought about this day.  One of the saddest days in my life.  The house is so empty now.  Its indescribable.  

The house was completely full of family.  I love the picture of the shoes.  Lots of love for grandma stands in all those shoes.  

I was in moms room and Kalen walked in with Rylan, he looked at grandma's chair and puts his hands up as to say "where's grandma" .  Sweetest thing!!
