This year was our turn to make the T-shirts. I finally came up with a Dad'ism that I really loved!
Git A Move On
And we wanted a bright shirt so we got these awesome neon green shirts. It is such a neat tradition that Dave started after dad passed away to do this. Everyone loves it! This year we invited Bob and Naomi to come and join us. ..We played a family game of signs, we had to teach Bob and Naomi how to play it was SO fun. They are such great neighbors!! We love them so much. They drove mom as the rest of us did the walk/run to the pond and back.
Jan had to finish her chemo therapy so she was not able to come this year. But Dan, Sherie and Jenna came. Dave and Ty and Becky were there and Mike and Kathy. On the way to the pond the morning of the run Jes and the girls were bringing up the rear and someone pulled over, rolled down his window and yelled out '"Git a move on" to them and drove off. We have laughed about that all year!
What a legacy our dad left us!
We went to the river to swim on afternoon with Dave.. There is a really high rock and a deep pool that he and Ty jumped off. NOT ME!!!!! They went gold dredging a couple of afternoons, I stayed with mom.
