Pool Time

I was in the store one day and saw this pool on sale.  I had been kicking around the idea a getting a trampoline again for the kids to play on when they are here but decided that they all have one at home, a pool might be more enjoyable at grandmas house.  They have spent many hours in it!

Swim Camp 2016

I got a wild hair this spring and we bought a 5th wheel camper and sold our motor home.  I LOVE the camper!  We took it out once up to Palisade's with the kids and then to swim camp.  We didn't get to use it again.  (sad face)  

Swim camp was great as usual!  We went up on Sunday afternoon and got set up and lessons started Monday morning.  Kalen and Curtis got to come this year again.  Food was fabulous as usual and we just had a great time.  

Some people pulled in halfway through the week and as we began to talk to them I kept thinking I know that lady.  I didn't recognize her face but that voice, I knew that voice.  But I didn't ask her name and we just talked as we passed their camp.  Finally she came to my door and introduced herself.  It was Suzanne Lund, Christine worked for her when they lived here and we've been to Womens Conference together. I haven't seen her for years so we got caught up a little. 

As always the week sped by and it was too soon time to pack up and go home. 

I love swim camp!!!

I LOVE the geese.  I don't know what it is about them but I just love seeing the geese on the creek and out in the grain fields.  We had so many families this year.  Its fun to watch them after hatching and as they grow from a little fluff ball to a clumsy teenager the size of their parents.  And watching them begin to fly.  I love the geese!

Penny visits

My friend from High School Penny Reed and her husband and their son Eric came by for a visit.  I had to talk till I was blue in the face to get Gordon to come for lunch with her.  But they all came and we had a very nice visit together.  Harold had the day off so he was here with me and they made us laugh all afternoon.  Saturday I was making bread so I invited her over to make bread with me.  She had never made homemade bread.   Her idea of homemade bread was Rhodes.  HaHa  now she can make her own.
