Took mom to the cabin for a week. We left on Tuesday the 16h of Sept and came home the following Monday. It was quite eventful Thursday mom had a mini heart attack and took a ride in the ambulance to Boise to St. Alphonses Hospital. So we ended up staying the whole day they finally released her about 8 o'clock that night and we decided to drive on back up to the cabin and we got there about 10 PM . Friday we were supposed to meet Marian for lunch but no answer on the telephone and we found out later Friday evening late that she had passed away. That was really hard in mom especially since she was already very weak from her heart episode. The one happy spot though was that we got a phone call from Naomi asking us if we wanted to ride with her friend to church on Sunday and I asked mom if she was feeling up to it and she decided that she would if if Naomi were to go with us so on Sunday she and her friend picked us up and we went down to Garden Valley for church and stayed for sacrament meeting. It was wonderful. The plan was to stay till Tuesday but since we did not know whether they were going to have a memorial service for Marian that week we decided to come home on Monday to be able to prepare to take another trip to Boise later in the week. As it happened she did not have a will so the state took over. And it's been 3 weeks since she passed away. Her cousin told mom since it's been so long since her passing they wouldn't be having a service . His has been quite a blow for mom. She is the surviving friend of the original seven friends that they started school tigether in first grade.
One of the highlights of this week though was that on Sunday mom was feeling well enough to go to church and we had mentioned it to Naomi ( she is inactive ) . She called us on Saturday night and said a friend of hers was going down to Garden Valley for church and would love to give us a ride, so I told her that we would love to go but since we didn't know her we would love for Naomi to go along so it wouldn't be uncomfortable for any of us ( heeheehee great way to have Naomi come to church with us).
